Refund & Cancellation Policy

We aim to process every cancellation fairly and transparently. The amount refundable depends on the product, the supplier's own rules, and how close to departure the cancellation is made. This policy explains the schedule for each TravelFare.PK service.
1. General principles
- Non-refundable costs. Government fees, embassy fees, GAMCA medicals, courier charges, attestation fees, and any third-party deposits already paid by us on your behalf are non-refundable in all cases.
- Service fees. Our service fee is fully refundable if cancellation happens before any work is done; partially refundable if work has begun; non-refundable after government submissions.
- Refund timeline. Eligible refunds are processed within 14 working days of cancellation confirmation, returned to the original payment method.
2. Umrah packages
- More than 30 days before departure — 75% of package price refunded (deposit retained).
- 15 to 30 days before departure — 50% refunded.
- 7 to 14 days before departure — 25% refunded.
- Less than 7 days before departure — non-refundable (hotels and flights are already paid).
3. Hajj packages
Due to the strict government-allocated quota and pre-paid Saudi authority charges, Hajj cancellations follow a separate non-refundable structure. Specific terms are agreed and signed at booking. Generally:
- Before quota allocation — 50% of paid amount refundable (deposit and processing retained).
- After quota allocation — non-refundable.
4. Tour packages (domestic & international)
- More than 21 days before departure — 80% refunded.
- 14 to 21 days — 50% refunded.
- 7 to 14 days — 25% refunded.
- Less than 7 days — non-refundable.
5. Tourist visa applications
- Cancellation before submission — full refund of our service fee. Government fees retained only if already remitted.
- After submission — service fee non-refundable. Government fees follow embassy rules.
- Visa rejection — service fee retained for the work done. Embassy fees follow that embassy's refund policy (typically non-refundable).
6. KSA work visa & manpower export
- Cancellation before sponsor match — full refund of any service fee paid (none typically paid this early).
- Cancellation after sponsor match but before visa stamping — government third-party costs (medical, attestation, BoEOEC) are non-refundable; our service fee was not yet collected.
- Cancellation after visa stamping — service fee is non-refundable; we'll assist you with sponsor-transfer if applicable.
7. Air ticketing
Refunds for air tickets are governed entirely by the airline's own fare rules. Some economy fares are non-refundable; flexible fares allow date changes for a fee. TravelFare.PK's ticketing service fee (if any) is refundable only if the ticket has not been issued.
8. Insurance recovery
Where you hold travel insurance, additional recovery may be possible from the insurer (medical evacuation, trip interruption, supplier insolvency). We can supply the cancellation documentation you'll need for that claim.
9. How to cancel
- Email bookings@travelfare.pk with your booking reference and reason for cancellation.
- Wait for our written acknowledgement — that timestamp determines the refund tier.
- You'll receive a refund summary itemising what is recoverable, payable when.
10. Disputes
If you disagree with a refund calculation, write to legal@travelfare.pkwithin 14 days. We'll review the supplier paperwork and respond with a final decision. Unresolved disputes are governed by the Terms & Conditions.
